The local socialist party pretends that the governing party is causing an unprecedented loss of the municipal accounts.
The truth is that during the government of the local P.P. over the last 12 years the municipal accounts has increased dramatically, from being almost inexistent, to the following numbers:
Cash funds :
39.824.085,14 Euros
3 houses
4 offices
24 commercial premises
local cemetery
sports complex with football pitch, swimming pool, tennis courts, golf driving range, indoor sports centre, etç…
Industrial hall for the vehicles
Green zones : 73.993 m2
Building plots : 1.492 m2
The total value of those properties, excluding the sports facilities, amounts to 2.343.377,33 Euros
Properties outside the town centre :
Green zones : 3.295.531 m2
Equipment areas : 1.074.144 m2
Building plots : 44.980 m2
Total value : 99.332.836,53 Euros
Total area : 783.392 m2
Total estimation : 35.197.726,00 Euros
All the documents confirming these numbers are of public character and can be verified by everyone in the municipal premises.
All this has been achieved over the last 12 years without raising local taxes.

-Owned in town cetre: 3 houses and 4 offices (what for?)

-The cemetery was built more than 12 (makes you wonder...)
-Sports were already present, they roofed a sports ground (its been closed since for about 3 or 4 years now)
-Industry hall for vehicles (I see them parked down near the river, I walk my dog around there every day).
No local taxes going up? What about the water, Ibi...??? Who wrote this!!
You can not compare this with Marbella.... no one is robbing! Try a visit to the PP office, you will find aswers to your questions! I am afraid you do not have a very accurate idea.
- Marbella has no money, it went to the politicians there, they needed a 100 million euro loan to sort things out. But that has to be paid back over the next years.
- Town hall, technical office, policia local, ...
- None of the commercial properties is rented out, but can always be sold in the future.
- The access to the cemetery should have been sorted out in the beginning, but PSOE was in power then
The access to the cemetery and other roads have been put in to build houses...(Townhall got a share in that? like in Urb.Las Mozas)
The police asked the PP townhall if they could have bullet proof jackets, Antonio Mena said "what do you need that for?"
The church hasen't had electricity since about 4 years now, is that the previous townhall responsibility too?
Why are so many construciones being made and then the construction site going backrupt. It happend with the church, the football grounds and the new guadia civil building.
All in the direction of MARBELLA, but hopefully were are more intelegente than them.
